Well, last April of this year, I hounded a Flower Shop to hire me for their delivery job, they finally called me in to see if I would work out.. Three months later, they fired me..
Now, I was getting better than my very first day when I had overwhelming flower deliveries, I didn't know where I was going, I didn't know how to actually deliver these flowers and what they expected of me. But I learned.. And I did a good job. But I can not help it when I have to take time and place the flowers in a shaded area, or even deliver them again. And the traffic, Eagle Road is 20 miles from Overland to Chinden Blvd. They don't consider all this..
They said oh we won't let you go, but you need to be quicker, I know you are a single mother and you need this job. I got a ass chewing on one Saturday, telling me that I load the flowers to slow, that I stay in the van 5 minutes before I leave, I had to ask where the wholesalers were, and that I am fat and can not hustle to get the flowers out. Wow, None of this is true.. I busted my ass for them.
But it's okay for a transpose number on the address, trying to find a house which does not exist.
They also don't consider me driving downtown and circling the block three times to get a parking space and paying a quarter for the meter and walking a block to deliver flowers that the person wasn't there. Then driving back to the previous customer because there was no apartment number to leave the flowers to.. Then going to the Wholesalers to pick up more product..
Driving to Star and Middleton which the speed limit is 25 miles per hour.. You can not go faster than 25 miles per hour I did once and got a hefty ticket..
I don't think they have a right to fire me.. They also said I wasn't a good fit for this job. They said I didn't enjoy my job. Well, if you went to work and did your job, and when you come back you get your ass chewed for being late... you wouldn't like the job to..
Most days I would cry because I knew that I was going to get into "trouble" for running late, but hey it's not my fault.. Things happened!!! And some days it didn't go very well.
Okay enough about that, I just wanted to get it out in the world.. Oh and after they fired me, they posted it online that they were looking for a full time deliver driver. Wow.. I am not sure if they did find anyone. Or maybe they have to deliver the flower themselves..
NOTE: She didn't like me in the first place.. I can tell...
